Battery Wont Charge

Once place and build the battery wont charge. It stays at 0% changing the priority from 1 to 15 didn't change anything, as well as the production priority. It works fine in sandbox it seems to be in the main game only. Am I missing something?

There are two priorities. Charging priority and discharging. If discharging priority higher (lower number) than other producers then battery won't charge because it acts like top producer and nothing has higher priority that can charge it. Check your priorities.
