Auto Boost Settings defined?

I am having difficulty understanding exactly what the auto boost settings actually do. Do you have any instructions for that?

Auto boost boost machines faster or slower depending how its chain is doing, if you link a storage it is smarter. Auto boost helps release workers, power, maintenance when it does not have to boost more then needed. Also helps take away lots of micromanagement with boosting.

If you want to use it fully with more control and be much smarter, if you have a complex chain setup. Use boost groups and you have even more control over it's behavior to make the chain work efficiently.

Thanks. and What about what does each of the settings actually do? Maybe make the % mark clickable and display a window with more detail on each.

I guess what I am looking for is how to set boost to automatic and have it auto adjust boost with no increase in cost. Ultimate automatic cheat. :) And to be able to auto boost to ludicrous speeds.
