Fixed in version 0.9.21 — please update!

I had to dig into the internal mechanics of this road mod to figure out the issue: its roads invisibly reserve the land beneath them, preventing underground pipes from passing underneath.

Underground Pipes is now compatible with it — buried …

But I still have cheats from СOIE.

Fixed in 0.9.20 — please update!

The settings gear button has been moved to the top date/weather bar (next to the date and the w…

Fixed in 0.9.19. It was an integer overflow: the x-ray thought a build tool was always open and stayed hidden until you actually clicked one — that's why your workaround worked. Update and it shows right away after loading.

Fixed in 0.9.17! Turned out to be a mod conflict, not a loading bug: the Speed++ mod replaces the vanilla speed buttons by hiding everything of type "ButtonIcon" in the top speed bar — and my settings gear matched that filter, so it was placed but instantly hidden. The gear is now a dedicated button type that Speed++'s sweep can't touch, plus it re-shows itself every couple of seconds if anything …

Hi , it's a mod display bug on my side, not the game. The game's panel (550/550) is the correct one.

Here's what was happening: on a pipe, the fluid travels in little discrete packets, and each packet can carry more than one unit at once (in your screenshot, 2 units per packet). The old hover read-out was counting the number of packets instead of adding up the units inside them - so with 2 unit…

done! 🎉

The latest update adds exactly that: an overall brightness slider for the whole underground overlay (all pipes at once, not per-pipe). You'll find it in the mod settings — click the little gear button up in the top game-speed bar, then look under "X-ray brightness." Slide it down and the pipes fade into the background as much as you like.

I also **lowered the default brightn…

hi !
And about the Cheats++ note — that's a known conflict I just fixed in the next update (0.9.1): with both mods loaded, both were protecting the buried pipes, so my button alone wasn't enough. In 0.9.1 that same button now frees Cheats++ as well, so it'll actually delete the pipes with Cheats++ loaded. Updating should sort it out — let me know if it doesn't!

Hey, thanks again for the detailed report — both should be sorted in the latest update:

The "delete buried pipes" toggle now always starts OFF when you load a game, so you can't accidentally bulldoze pipes by leaving it on from a previous session.

I actually dug into Cheat++'s code to figure this one out. It turns out Cheat++ has its own bulldoze protection for buried pipes that's always a…

Hey, thanks so much They were sitting a bit high because, unlike the vanilla buttons, mine didn't have that little keybind row on top, so they weren't getting stretched to the full height of the bar. I just pushed an update (0.6.0) that fixes it — they line up flush with the rest now.

Hey! Yeah, that's almost certainly Cheat++ you're thinking of — it's got a similar underground-pipes thing built in, but since it's a cheat mod it just lets you bury them as deep as you want.

With this one I honestly wanted to keep things close to vanilla, so I kept the depth shallow on purpose — felt more in the spirit of the base game than digging tunnels to the center of the earth (and the …
