Pipes and Belts Breaking

This is the only gameplay mod I'm running, randomly an elevated pipe or belt will just break and turn to rubble. I have not been able to figure out any specific trigger, but just modifying, extending or touching a pipe or belt sometimes causes a part of it to collapse, each time the collapse has been nowhere near where I was modifying.

There is another issue I've had where random pipes have just been destroyed when I haven't even touched them. Today I noticed I had run out of diesel, the cause? a single piece of pipe in my refinery area hjad randomly collapsed.

As seen in the attached screenshot, I was modifying just one of the belts in the green area, some 80 tiles away when I noticed the belt no longer worked, zoomed out and found this entire section destroyed.

There is no warning about potential collapse or anything, it just happens and you have to hope you notice it before it sends the factory critical

With the inability to remove this mod from an existing save it is extremely frustrating as I didn't realise this issue until after several hours after enabling the mod.

Thanks for the report, i never ran in to this problem but will look in to it asap. Can you post your save here so i can test it and see what's causing it if it is my mod doing it.

Interesting you have seen this issue then. The only other mods I've got is Kayser's Automatic designations and the Wind Turbine mod. I did have your Tweaks++ and Utilities++ installed but removed them when trying to isolate the issue with no success.

Yeah i have not been able to reproduce this problem, i have a big main save and nothing has ever broken for me. I will test your save tomorrow and see if i can see anything in logs what's happening.

All g, in that save there is a long belt under construction near the greenhouses, for me when it finishes construction it has a section collapse immedietly without touching it, so hopefully that helps.

Took some time before i found the spot 😀

But for me it worked 99%
image.pngonly thing that broke finish building was one t3 belt i have no idea what's causing this but will see if i can find anything but not even sure its my mods since its not same problem recreated for me. But i will see what i can debug.

This is not caused by my mod. It's base game that decides the belt has no support there and forces a destroy, a bug since it has support. I would recommend sending to devs to check your save.
