ποΈ Move Buildings
Built something in the wrong spot? Pick it up and put it somewhere else: a Move button in every building's window takes it down and builds it again at the new place, with its own materials and settings.
No more demolishing, waiting for trucks to haul the parts away and paying for a new building. The old building is taken down the game's own way, its materials go straight into the new construction site, and the new one is built as soon as the old one is gone. Nothing is lost, not even what your difficulty keeps back when you demolish.

β¨ Features
- π±οΈ A Move button in every building's window, next to pause, upgrade and priority
- π» The game's own placement ghost: rotate, flip and raise it as usual; it starts at your mouse, turned like the building
- 𧱠Same materials: the old building's materials go straight to the new spot, no trucks needed, nothing to pay
- βοΈ Keeps its settings: recipes, priorities, storage products, links to storages, like the game's copy tool
- βοΈ Towers keep their fleet and area: a mine or forestry tower keeps its own trucks and excavators and the area it manages
- π¦ Done the game's way: a storage first gives out what it holds, a reactor shuts down, and the new site waits until the old building is gone
- β©οΈ Cancel any time: cancel taking down the old building and it gets its materials back; cancel the new site and the old one is simply demolished
- πΎ Saved with the game: moves going on carry on after loading
- 𧩠Works for every building of the game and of other mods (not for transports, rails and unique buildings)
- π Speaks all 21 languages of the game

How to start
- Open the window of the building you want to move.
- Press the Move button in its top right corner.
- Place the ghost at the new spot (Escape or right click cancels).
- Watch the old building come down and the new one go up, with no trucks driving.
Good to know
- The new spot must not overlap the old one.
- The button is greyed out, with the game's reason, while a building cannot be taken down.
- Tunnels of Logistics Expanded keep their own "Move this end" (they move at once); Mega Mining excavators are left out (their track would stay behind).
- Setting: Options β Mods β Move Buildings β move_button.
- Can be added to existing saves, but not removed from them again.
- Made for Captain of Industry 0.8.7.
No game files included. Contains Harmony (MIT).
No announcements yet.
