yeah i know 100% its my fault but i tried it a lot but it always say that.
I tried making the designation and then making the mod do it, doesnt fix it, i tried making the minig area as large as possible, still doesnt fix it it always only say "Mine control tower has no available designations to be mined in its area"

p.s. im a newbie so i might be just stupid, but yeah i cant wrap my head around this

That is a vanilla message, not from the mod.

I am having the same problem and it is because the tool isn't crating ramps - see attached screenshot.

For some reason it will crate a ramp on some, but not others. My work around was to only use the tool above ground (for now).

(I should say - I think that is why the game is saying "no available designations" - it can't get to them.)

It will only create the ramp if there is space within the tower area. In the screenshot shown, all space is being taken up by mining designations. When all space is taken up by mining designations, there is no space left to create the ramp. Hence, there is no way to start the mining.

Solution: make the area big enough so that a ramp can be fitted. The area must extend well outside the resource that needs to be mined.

It's not possible to create a ramp outside the mining tower area, because it needs to be inside the mining tower area so that the excavators can dig the ramp.
