Option to start the ramp INSIDE the mining area

I'm sure this MOD works wonders for the late game when you have lots of resources but, in the early game, it takes a whole lot longer to even start mining resources. Is it possible to add something to address this?

Did you try Ore quality max? Max layers=5. That should give a shallow dig with ramp mostly inside deposit.

I didnt! Mostly because I didn't fully understand how it works.
