I set all my settings (Lubricous speed) and click on save. No error messages. I then save the game and load the game and the boost screen is back to default settings. Clicking on restore settings does nothing. Note the message blow the buttons. "No Backup Found....."

You need to create a backup first then you can restore it. I will test this now and see if same thing happens for me.
works fine for me, i set all to max and reloaded and it all is saved. Also backup restoring works too for me.

I must have another mod conflict issue then.
I did add a new one to my list before I noticed it not saving and loading settings.

Ok. Seams both interfere. I can do without the rubber maker extra fluid port mod but I really like the Pre-industrial Era mod.
More testing has proven the Rubber Maker Extra Fluid Port is DEFINETLY the culprit. Without that mod it works. I can easily do without that mod.
