Multiplayer coop and versus would be awesome!

That could be the point, there can be two option, one with is Cooperative and the other one is make a trade center but with another players

i love the solo game thing, dont like multiplayer as they would ruin it all , like waging war against you so you lose your island? that will bring much frustration in this game. no this game dont need multiplayer, or maybe and option for those who like multiplayer and lose their island, but for me, plz no multiplayer, they ruin it all always, saw Ark go down like this, saw many games losing many players when it gos multiplayer. so plz do not bring in multi player plz!

If you guys bring in multiplayer, i will quit this game like many others who dont like multiplayer, i bought this game just because their is no multiplayer. Why bring multiplayer in this game? because you all love bringing war into this game? isn't there enouph war in real life? a game is to relax, not to get stressed because a stupid multiplayer mode. I am 42 years, and NO i dont want multiplayer, its good like it is. If you want multiplayer go play a cod game then! plzzzzz no multiplayer, i will quit and give a bad review if you guys bring in multi player, i saw in other comments that they already would love to raid others their island, Do you guys love to steal? you guys love to bring real life problems into a game that is mented to be relaxing? all multiplayer pc games get ruined by it, so plzzzz pllzzzzzz no multiplayer, it will break this game into an all stealing atitude!

If the multiplayer mode would be co op and building together, i am in for it, if it would become a pvp thing, i will quit. I think its better to give players a choice between pvp or pve

I would love to have coop multiplayer.
Just two or three players building together on one big factory. This would be awesome.

Coop multiplayer would be an absolute gamechanger for me. I love building a factory together with a friend. Did in in Factorio for more than a thousand hours :)

If u have to do it, better soon, add multiplayer later will be difficult, more code more defects

In SC2013 People would create a city in your region an then abandon it. So the safe bet would be people working on one island together.

I don't really see how multiplayer would fit this game. In other automation games (Factorio/Satisfactory), you have character you control, there's environmental hazard any you build and move the factory yourself.
Captain of industry however, is more closer to city builder/management games in terms of game mechanics. Those are usually single-player, since they don't create very good multiplayer experience as you'd need to share the build resources and the build queue and you'd really only see how blueprints/buildings/mining designations appear or disappear on the map. Your friends would mostly get in the way.
Trading with friends online could be reasonably easy to implement, but it's just online feature, not a multiplayer.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not against optional multiplayer, I just fail to see how to make a good Captain of Industry multiplayer that would be worth the development effort. Maybe with huge map where everyone starts individually separated by terrain and compete.

for me yes online but just to trade and help out, for example trading in unity, for wood someting like a 0.5 unity, and gowing up as long what recourses your friend need. but i wouldn't want to see is pvp, that will ruin the game for me. i hope if they go online that they will not bring war into this game as we have enouph wars in real life. games should learn players to work together instead of learning to steal from eachother.

I think it would be nice to everybody has his own island and you can visit your firends islands and you can trade goods.

I don't see how controlling the same island would be useful. Multiplayer where everyone gets their own islands and can visit, trade, etc., would be fun though.

Would be nice to have some kind of multiplayer / co-op mode. Be kind neat to have friends on different islands or whatever having to trade certain resources that may not be available on certain islands
