It's also an enormously rich source of raw minerals. However, there's a big problem: trash as a generic object can be made of iron, plastic, wood, glass, silicon... Anything that pe…

35 votes Show average uptimes/throughputs on buildings and transports 1 · untrioctium · 4 years ago Quality of life UI & UX 4 years ago by Luftwolf [ideas] Posted 5 years ago Buildings could track their average uptimes over several time windows and report when clicked (e.g. 20% uptime this month, 60% uptime 6 mo, etc); this would help debug production or estimate how much headroom is left. Similarly, transports could display th…

34 votes Underground tunnel (highly recommended!!!!) 0 · 하루송이 [ideas] · 10 months ago New content Trains Vehicles & Roads 10 months ago by 하루송이 [ideas] Posted 10 months ago Using underground tunnels allows the blockages caused by conveyor belts to be cleared, enabling the factory to operate more efficiently. 34 votes Total Travel Distance of Trucks for Each Resources 1 · AnotherFireFox · 1 year ago Quality of life Vehicles & Roads 1 year ago by k [ideas] 2 Posted 1 year ago Currently, in Vehicle Manager, you can check truck delivery statistics, including the quantity of resources delivered and the number of trips made. While this data is valuable, I’d also like to track the total distance covered by deliveries—especially with…

34 votes One Word: Plastics 2 · PTTG · 1 year ago New content Production & Recipes 1 year ago by Cpt. SEI [ideas] Posted 1 year ago Plastic is perhaps the dominant material of the modern world. Concrete may be made in greater quantity, and steel may be more valuable, but plastic is omnipresent. This could be reflected in-game by adding alternate recipes which use plastic to increase pr…

34 votes "There are some mining designations outside of mine tower areas" but where? 2 · W [ideas] · 2 years ago Quality of life UI & UX 2 years ago by Case_Hardened Posted 2 years ago For almost all other alerts, you can click them to move display focus to the problem, but not this one, and I find it very hard after a while to find errant mining instructions, would be nice if I could just click the alert and find it.

34 votes A trenching machine. 1 · link12313 [ideas] · 1 year ago New content Terrain & Mining 1 year ago by Bantha Posted 4 years ago It would dig up to three small tiles down and one pipe length wide to make buried pipes and small scale landscaping easier.

34 votes Make ghost buildings more ghostly (not block vehicles) 3 · Zyndr · 1 year ago Quality of life Tools & Construction 1 year ago by beepchirpwhirr [ideas] Posted 4 years ago Planning mode is good in that it keeps things paused, but its functionality is moot if it actually places an entity that blocks transport. Making the entity "real" only when it receives its first materials would address this issue.

34 votes UI: Clicking an empty spot on the world map should close info boxes. 1 · WTFezOn [ideas] · 4 years ago Quality of life UI & UX 4 years ago by ph3rr3t 2.0 [ideas] Posted 4 years ago When you have an entity info box displayed on the main game screen, clicking any empty place on that screen closes the info box.
