1 vote Rail colors correspond to their speed limits. 0 · Ikev · 2 months ago Quality of life Trains UI & UX 2 months ago by Ikev Posted 2 months ago When building a rail network, it would be handy to display maximum transit speeds on the map or via an overlay—not just when placing the tracks.

1 vote Camera pivot point when zoomed in 0 · pitti42 · 2 months ago Quality of life UI & UX 2 months ago by pitti42 Posted 2 months ago If you zoom up close and are close to the ground, the camera's pivot point is basically off screen, and rotating the camera becomes very unintuitive, because you're not really orbiting what is at the center of the screen. If you're not zoomed-in that close…

1 vote Train Minimum Fuel to Depart 2 · computerneek · 2 months ago Quality of life Trains 2 months ago by computerneek Posted 2 months ago Specifically, "train may not depart this station unless it has at least X fuel". Why? Because more often than not, my first warning that my train fuel station has run out of fuel... is a train running out of fuel, which becomes a forced Unity spend, and un…

1 vote Allow downgrade of ghosts 2 · pitti42 · 2 months ago Quality of life Tools & Construction 2 months ago by pitti42 Posted 2 months ago For example, a tier 2 pipe ghost can be upgraded to tier 3 via the upgrade button, but there is no downgrade button to downgrade to tier 1. You either have to delete the pipe and recreate it at tier 1, or use the upgrade tool, select the pipe twice (first …

1 vote Replacing a blueprint 4 · Epy · 2 months ago Quality of life Tools & Construction 2 months ago by Epy Posted 2 months ago Hello When I update a blueprint in my game, to fix a mistake or because I found one or multiple improvments I'd like to keep the name of the old one most of the time. Today it requires to edit the current name, copy it, delete the BP, select New, select th…

1 vote vehicle often runs out of fuel during the mission 1 · DoCoIIIMoSa · 2 months ago Vehicles & Roads 2 months ago by computerneek Posted 2 months ago The vehicle's navigation system doesn't consider whether the vehicle has enough fuel to sustain its journey. Therefore, if the assigned task is long, the vehicle often runs out of fuel during the mission. My suggestion is to let the navigation system consi…

1 vote No more free rock/dirt removal from the ore sorting plant 0 · Hangglider · 2 months ago Balance Production & Recipes 2 months ago by Hangglider Posted 2 months ago Sometimes my ore sorters stop working because they are filled up by waste products rock or dirt. This can be cleared out by removing this material from the plant's settings as a sorted product, and adding it back. The 240 rock/dirt is instantly deleted or …

1 vote Allow trucks to load and unload at storages linked to train stations 1 · pitti42 · 2 months ago Quality of life Logistics Trains 2 months ago by computerneek Posted 2 months ago Currently, there is this weird limitation where trucks are not allowed to unload at storages that are linked to "unload" stations, or to load from storages linked to "load" stations. At an "unload" station, I need material. So trucks should be able to help…

1 vote Make export exclusivity more apparent 1 · pitti42 · 2 months ago Quality of life Logistics UI & UX 2 months ago by computerneek Posted 2 months ago I recently had like 20 trucks just sitting there, loaded with dirt, claiming to have "no valid target". This occupied all the trucks, and I had an "extremely busy" status because of this. It took me the whole evening to debug this problem, until I found ou…

1 vote Pipe and belt segment joining 1 · pitti42 · 2 months ago Quality of life Logistics 2 months ago by computerneek Posted 2 months ago If you create a pipe in one go from connection to connection, you have a single pipe segment that can be deleted, upgraded, paused, etc. with one click. But if you piece it together, you will have seams that divide the pipe into multiple segments. This is …

1 vote Allow top and bottom connections to the pipe connector 0 · pitti42 · 2 months ago Quality of life Logistics 2 months ago by pitti42 Posted 2 months ago Make it 6-way and not just 4-way!

1 vote 4-lane roads and ramps for trucks!!! 1 · Sergeant Cross · 2 months ago New content Vehicles & Roads 2 months ago by computerneek Posted 2 months ago *Roads for trucks and 4-lane modular ramps*\ *And settings for how many lanes a road has, as well as the direction trucks travel on a bridge: 2 lanes going one way on one side, and the other 2 lanes going the other way!!!*

1 vote Idle Vehicle Parking 2 · DoCoIIIMoSa · 3 months ago New content Vehicles & Roads 3 months ago by DoCoIIIMoSa Posted 3 months ago **Idle Vehicle Parking & Maintenance Adjustments**\ I would like to suggest adding a dedicated parking lot for vehicles that are currently without missions. Additionally, it would be great if the maintenance costs for these vehicles could be reduced while …

1 vote Accessibility request - World map resource-specific icon colors 0 · Istas · 3 months ago Quality of life UI & UX World Map & Ships 3 months ago by Istas Posted 3 months ago I have the whole world map discovered, but my eyes have difficulty finding which specific black on yellow circular icon I'm looking for among all the other black on yellow circular icons.\ \ If you could please add at least the option to have color-coded r…

1 vote Multiple areas for mining tower 1 · LordXaosa · 2 months ago Quality of life Terrain & Mining 2 months ago by computerneek Posted 3 months ago Hello! It would be great if I could set multiple zones for mining tower. For example one for mine and another for dumping. Because there are cases when you have something between mine and dump area so you don't want to mine all of it, just part. ![image.pn…

1 vote Make trucks able to pass through ghost buildings 1 · LordXaosa · 2 months ago Vehicles & Roads 2 months ago by computerneek Posted 3 months ago Hello! For now if you build in planning mode trucks consider those plans as built structures and avoid then in pathfinding. I think it's incorrect and ghost buildings should not affect pathfinding. When planning long rail network it is very annoying :)

1 vote Downgrading options 3 · Norgad · 3 months ago Quality of life Tools & Construction 3 months ago by Vladovlak Posted 3 months ago I'm feeling a bit silly posting this here but I've checked for this feature and can't find it other than clicking the upgrade button on a transport building itself.\ Often, when I plan a factory, I don't care right away for the transport level that I'm lay…

1 vote Shipyard belt access to and from storage 0 · COI-Aficionado · 3 months ago Quality of life World Map & Ships 3 months ago by COI-Aficionado Posted 3 months ago Devs, we are at update 4.2, and we still don't have dedicated belt access to and from the shipyard. Why not? It would be so nice to be able to offload cargo found or taken in by our exploration ship, and to make it easier to provide dedicated repair materi…

1 vote Change to how the "U-shaped Sorter" works. Pls 2 · RafaVector · 3 months ago Logistics 3 months ago by RafaVector Posted 3 months ago Hi! I’d like to suggest a change to how the "U-shaped Sorter" works. In the image, you can see that I’ve connected three U-shaped Sorters—each with a filter—to the output of a waste sorting plant.\ The issue is that it has an internal buffer; when it fills…

1 vote Rail Siding module and draw bridges. 0 · COI-Aficionado · 3 months ago New content Trains Vehicles & Roads 3 months ago by COI-Aficionado Posted 3 months ago Hopefully, we’ll eventually get a rail-switching module that allows trains to use sidings properly. Trains waiting for a clear track could automatically move to the nearest available siding instead of stopping and blocking the main line. This would make ra…

1 vote Power icon in color when asking too much power 0 · Epy · 3 months ago Quality of life Power & Energy UI & UX 3 months ago by Epy Posted 3 months ago Hello A small feature request but very useful I think: Could we have the dashboard power icon displaying in color (red or another accessible color ?) when we use more power than we produce ? ![image.png](/content-images/0baa62a71bc3ae75ea53bd614f82beff80f7…

1 vote alt-click or long-click "clone" to select what gets cloned 0 · BarBarBar · 3 months ago Quality of life Tools & Construction 3 months ago by BarBarBar Posted 3 months ago The clone tool is very handy and covers a lot of things. Sometimes you want to apply one setting to a big group of buildings without changing the other settings that the clone tool affects. Like if you want to change a bunch of priorities without changing …

1 vote Train stations - allow re-ordering of products in the menu 1 · JustADragon · 3 months ago Quality of life Trains 3 months ago by computerneek Posted 3 months ago This is only really applicable to mixed use stations, but the ability to change the display order of handled products would be useful. This would allow players to change the order to match station modules, or to sort/group products in the GUI by priority o…

1 vote Airport! 0 · computerneek · 3 months ago New content Vehicles & Roads 3 months ago by computerneek Posted 3 months ago We've got boats, we've got trains, we've got... rockets? But no planes. Now, we've got enough logistics options as it is, and the maps are small enough, that I don't think it makes sense to try and use aircraft as an island logistics solution. We've also a…
