The black background on the text (in the green box) seems unintended. In any case it doesn't look polished.

Yeah, it was discussed today and it would be good to have it documented on the Hub page, but it would also be in the manifest->dependency manager, so that mods are loaded in correct order. For example, Herman uses my mining panel, but his building also works without. So his mod should encourage my mod to load before his, but not declare a hard dependency.
