1 vote Transport item labels 0 · MrCB · 1 year ago Quality of life UI & UX 1 year ago by MrCB Posted 1 year ago Currently have to mouse over to see the material's name. Lots of unused space in the modal would save effort to have it just displayed. https://imgur.com/a/dKKCo9q

1 vote Canceling uninitiated rail building constructions placed over rails yields back… 0 · Douso [ideas] · 1 year ago Quality of life Trains 1 year ago by Douso [ideas] Posted 1 year ago Canceling uninitiated rail building constructions placed over rails yields back the built rails. When you place any rail building (eg. level crossings, station buildings) over rails but reconsider placing it in a different spot, canceling it (without it ha…

1 vote Highlight storage with desired item 0 · Obi-Wun [ideas] · 1 year ago Quality of life UI & UX 1 year ago by Obi-Wun [ideas] Posted 1 year ago An overlay which will highlight the storage buildings which contains the target item. Maybe could also include production buildings that utilises or produces target too.

1 vote Fix the Resarch lab Bug. 0 · Me [ideas] · 1 year ago Research & Tech 1 year ago by Me [ideas] Posted 1 year ago I´m researching the Pollution 3 reduction with the research lab IV. It´s fine, als long as i save the game and reload it. After reloading all the Pollution 3 stuff is not researched anymore.

1 vote Balancer / Connector (1x3) 0 · Obi-Wun [ideas] · 1 year ago New content Logistics 1 year ago by Obi-Wun [ideas] Posted 1 year ago A construct that fits nicely between an assembler and storage to make the build flush. 3 input and 3 output, non-reversible (i.e. directional) Ideally would be similar to build and power costs of the connector (currently 0). Same item transfer rate of the …

1 vote Cargo Type and Destination overlay 0 · Dustin [ideas] 3 · 1 year ago Quality of life UI & UX 1 year ago by Dustin [ideas] 3 Posted 1 year ago When viewing truck statistics, I would like to be able to select a product/good type (coal/water/etc) and have the game draw a pathfinding line from every truck carrying that good to it's destination. This would make relating the high traffic for specific …

1 vote Auto rebuild of conveyor belts and other buildings 0 · Dustin [ideas] 3 · 1 year ago Quality of life Tools & Construction 1 year ago by Dustin [ideas] 3 Posted 1 year ago Would like an option to turn on that when a building is destroyed by the environment, a planned/ghost/paused rebuild is automatically put in its place. That way I can just un-pause it when ready to restore it. Makes it easier to know what was were when des…

1 vote Do not make building collapse if digging down to level of foundation 0 · Jeff B · 1 year ago Quality of life Terrain & Mining 1 year ago by Jeff B Posted 1 year ago I think that the "Building may collapse due to uneven terrain" messages is a little too sensitive. If I dig out terrain below the foundation of a building, or if dump rock/dirt, etc onto a building then I understand getting this message. However, if I'm le…

1 vote Station visitation requirement; train won't go to station X unless it's visited… 0 · Amber, Goddess of Chaos [ideas] · 1 year ago Quality of life Trains 1 year ago by Amber, Goddess of Chaos [ideas] Posted 1 year ago Station visitation requirement; train won't go to station X unless it's visited station Y first. It would be helpful to have the ability to set prerequisites for station visits. Currently, I have a single coal mine supplying two steam locomotive fuel dropo…

1 vote conveyor input limit 0 · xzanthar [ideas] · 1 year ago Quality of life Logistics 1 year ago by xzanthar [ideas] Posted 1 year ago like you have a limit on when conveyors can take stuff out of an inventory, I feel there should also be a slider to top conveyors from putting things into an inventory. Mostly this is to provide a buffer for inputting things from the shipyard, especially a…

1 vote Add automatic connector option. 0 · sethyboy0 [ideas] · 1 year ago Quality of life Logistics 1 year ago by sethyboy0 [ideas] Posted 1 year ago Add a hetkeyable generic "connector" building that you can build over existing transport buildings that changes its type based on the building you place it over. Copy \+ pasting occasionally leads to missing connectors on the edges and having to add them m…

1 vote Explicit pipe building mode 0 · Improbability [ideas] · 1 year ago Quality of life Logistics 1 year ago by Improbability [ideas] Posted 1 year ago Pipe drawing is impressive, but the default heuristic does not always do what you want. It would be nice to have a fine control option to drive the end of the pipe in an explicit shape in a stepwise manner. This would also help for belts, but pipes are mos…

1 vote Train line UI, more numbers 0 · Shinhan · 1 year ago Quality of life Trains UI & UX 1 year ago by Shinhan Posted 1 year ago In the list of Train lines it would be nice to quickly see how many trains are in which status (green/orange/blue). Maybe the station number could change colors if there are stations with problems...

1 vote Train line filtering 0 · Shinhan · 1 year ago Quality of life Trains UI & UX 1 year ago by Shinhan Posted 1 year ago Similar to sorting somebody else suggested, I think filtering would help too. By product (if there's sorting this would be less important) but also by station (dropdown, select by clicking on station, text search...).

1 vote List lines servicing a train station 0 · Shinhan · 1 year ago Quality of life Trains UI & UX 1 year ago by Shinhan Posted 1 year ago Once you get a lot of train lines it gets tedious to go check every line to see which ones are servicing a certain station to see if you can decomission it or change something.

1 vote Double click to build from codex 1 · Kayser · 1 year ago Quality of life Tools & Construction UI & UX 1 year ago by Dustin [ideas] 3 Posted 1 year ago When building from Codex, double click to build. (I'm aware Ctrl-click works, but double click is not doing anything)

1 vote Tower zones 0 · Грин [ideas] · 1 year ago Quality of life UI & UX 1 year ago by Грин [ideas] Posted 1 year ago The towers and the work zones controlled by these towers are very well done. But not finished. From a tower's menu you can jump to that tower's zone. But not the other way around. In other words, from a tower you can find its zone of control. But when you …

1 vote Dump zone pathfinding 0 · RoboticSith [ideas] · 1 year ago Quality of life Vehicles & Roads 1 year ago by RoboticSith [ideas] Posted 1 year ago I have several silos with assigned trucks to keep them empty. I don't really care where they dump the contents (so the new zoning thing probably wouldn't help) and I have several sites around the island. The trucks have repeatedly picked a zone which has n…

1 vote Drag to Plan and Build Multiple Structures at Once 0 · Hollow_Banshee · 1 year ago Quality of life Tools & Construction 1 year ago by Hollow_Banshee Posted 1 year ago Enable drag-to-build functionality, allowing users to plan and construct multiple buildings simultaneously — especially useful for quickly placing storage facilities or retaining walls.

1 vote Storage Input Output preference 0 · Dustin [ideas] 3 · 1 year ago Quality of life Logistics 1 year ago by Dustin [ideas] 3 Posted 1 year ago Ability to prefer an input or an output, similar to a sorter but on the storage itself.

1 vote Pipe Connectors are limiting flow 2 · Eric [ideas] 4 · 1 year ago Logistics 1 year ago by Eric [ideas] 4 Posted 1 year ago I have Pipe IV's running from my nuclear plants. They are capable of transporting 1041 units of steam. I noticed that my power generators are underperforming ALOT. I noticed that pipe connectors are limitied to a throughput of 13 units of steam or any prod…

1 vote map expansion 0 · SyavaSensey [ideas] · 1 year ago Maps & Map Editor 1 year ago by SyavaSensey [ideas] Posted 1 year ago Is it possible to increase the size of the map? I've already used almost the entire 4096\*4096 (17 M tiles) map, can you increase it in the map editor to 8192\*8192 (67 M tiles)? My PC's capacity allows me to process such resources

1 vote logistics tower 0 · Juliano [ideas] · 1 year ago New content Vehicles & Roads 1 year ago by Juliano [ideas] Posted 1 year ago I suggest a logistics tower. In order to have a new way of guiding small and medium-sized trucks, this tower allows selected trucks to work within a specific area, just like excavators. However, this category of logistics tower allows selected vehicles to …

1 vote Mining Tower Truck Assignments 0 · RoboticSith [ideas] · 1 year ago Quality of life Terrain & Mining Vehicles & Roads 1 year ago by RoboticSith [ideas] Posted 1 year ago It would be nice to be able to assign truck directly to a mining tower (can already do this) without ALSO having to assign an excavator. The usage for this would be for a "dump only" tower with a subset of storages linked as input. The assigned trucks woul…
