4 votes Polish on Pipe and Conveyer Belt placement 0 · UmbrellaCorpGamer [ideas] · 2 years ago Quality of life Tools & Construction 2 years ago by UmbrellaCorpGamer [ideas] Posted 2 years ago It seems that the placement of Piping and Belts feels very Bulky and sometimes difficult to master, even when the snapping action is turned on or off it seems that this is a rough task.. Would be great to see a "softer" feel on the placement and snapping o…

4 votes Haul truck ignore invalid paths 1 · somabva [ideas] · 2 years ago Vehicles & Roads 2 years ago by Jamie [ideas] Posted 2 years ago Haul trucks need a timeout to ignore invalid paths. This seems game-breaking enough in late game I'm surprised it isn't fixed. The second my haul trucks get rock in them, they're useless because there's one rock storage on the map and they can't get to it.…

4 votes Allow Corn Burning for Various Heats 0 · Nendail [ideas] · 2 years ago New content Farming & Food Power & Energy 2 years ago by Nendail [ideas] Posted 2 years ago Corn is used quite a bit for home heating in the US. While I can't find examples of it being used to produce steam, that doesn't mean it couldn't be used as such. It's not uncommon to see Corn/Pellet stoves putting out 40k\+ btu.

4 votes Starting buffer storage 1 · pilot24 [ideas] · 2 years ago New content Logistics 2 years ago by Vladovlak Posted 2 years ago Add cheap and small storage building. They have one input and one otput and have footprint of 3x3 cells. For building them you use some iron and mechanical parts. They work without electricity, but slow (throughput without electricity is half unit). I thin…

4 votes More Sour water Uses/Disposal 3 · Brett [ideas] · 2 years ago New content Environment & Pollution Production & Recipes 2 years ago by Ümit Özyürek [ideas] Posted 2 years ago Currently most of the sour water produced is going to the ocean and seriously affecting the health. I would like to see a waste water treatment or another use for sour water. Thanks

4 votes Nuclear Reactor 1 should tell you the upgrade cost while it's running. 0 · Brent [ideas] · 2 years ago Quality of life Power & Energy UI & UX 2 years ago by Brent [ideas] Posted 2 years ago So right now, in order to know the upgrade cost of the nuclear reactor, you have to turn it off first. That seems a bit strange. Since I'd like to know how much that it costs to upgrade before I turn it off. It doesn't feel like it makes a lot of sense.

4 votes Counter block for conveyors or pipe 0 · Brent [ideas] · 2 years ago New content Logistics UI & UX 2 years ago by Brent [ideas] Posted 2 years ago I would like to have some kind of counter i can drop on any conveyor or pipe. It provides a simple service - count how many units have passed through on a time scale. You could also name the counters, and have a list you can pull up in the UI. They would s…

4 votes Reversable storage containers 1 · Kaesden [ideas] · 2 years ago Quality of life Logistics 2 years ago by Tommo J. [ideas] Posted 2 years ago Add a way to reverse the inputs/outputs of an existing/full storage container to make emptying it via belt/pipe when rebuilding or reconfiguring an area.

4 votes About pipeline, flat plate, U-groove conveyor belt balancer 0 · your fans [ideas] · 2 years ago Quality of life Logistics 2 years ago by your fans [ideas] Posted 2 years ago Dear production team, this is my second suggestion today. After a period of gaming experience, the equalizers for pipes, tablets, and U-slots only have two levels: flat and priority. In the process of material use and distribution, if multiple aspects of m…

4 votes Make Vehicle Pausing Easier 0 · 3C_Dadger [ideas] · 2 years ago Quality of life Vehicles & Roads 2 years ago by 3C_Dadger [ideas] Posted 2 years ago Sometimes its tough to have an "ideal" number of vehicles, and idle vehicles are consuming maintenance and fuel. I'd like, perhaps from the "Vehicle Management" window, the ability to add/remove vehicles from the "pause" state so that they consume no fuel/…

4 votes QoL: x-ray (or rendering priority) 0 · CoUsT [ideas] · 2 years ago Quality of life UI & UX 2 years ago by CoUsT [ideas] Posted 2 years ago Basically I would like to see what's behind some buildings like ramps. It would be great if we could x-ray into the highlighted building OR make a keybind/function that would force highlighted item to be drawn on top of other things so you can basically se…

4 votes Cargoships for bulk transport on island 1 · W350 · 3 years ago New content World Map & Ships 3 years ago by Vladovlak Posted 3 years ago Can cargoships perhaps be used for bulk transport on an island. For example they are loaded on one side of the island where coal is mined and then transported by cargoship to the other side of the island where the coal power plant or smelting is.

4 votes Rich soil map location 1 · Kacper [ideas] · 3 years ago New content Farming & Food World Map & Ships 3 years ago by Filo [ideas] Posted 3 years ago Add a rich soil map location which allows you to construct farms, similarly to mines and oil rigs. Higher levels would allow more advanced crops to be produced in addition to increasing max shifts. While replicating the crop rotation interface like with no…

4 votes Floating Food Consumption 1 · Arun [ideas] · 3 years ago Quality of life Farming & Food Population & Services 3 years ago by PTTG Posted 3 years ago Currently, food needs are fixed in a settlement. If we have 4 farms for a food, and if there's a small surplus, it either sits in storage, or a overflow handling for that food is required (like being made into animal feed). But the fact is that the determi…

4 votes a new excavator silo 0 · cazamaldades1 [ideas] · 3 years ago New content Logistics Vehicles & Roads 3 years ago by cazamaldades1 [ideas] Posted 3 years ago I am sending you this suggestion because I think a silo would be needed for the excavators so that they can dump the materials directly without having to rely on the trucks and it would make things easier rather than having to wait for the trucks that usua…

4 votes Total mineable materials displayed on the mine control tower interface 1 · redacted · 3 years ago Quality of life Terrain & Mining UI & UX 3 years ago by redacted Posted 3 years ago It would be nice to see the total amount and the amount currently marked for excavation within the managed area of the mine control tower.

4 votes Visual indication of trucks being assigned to a building 0 · Karan [ideas] · 3 years ago Quality of life UI & UX Vehicles & Roads 3 years ago by Karan [ideas] Posted 3 years ago Right now the description window for trucks shows how many trucks are assigned to buildings, but the problem is that when you click on it, it doesn't highlight the truck or bring up which building its for. It just centers it. Then its a game of which truck…

4 votes Pipe sorting (like conveyor sorter) 0 · Jeremiah [ideas] · 3 years ago New content Logistics 3 years ago by Jeremiah [ideas] Posted 3 years ago I love the conveyor sorter, I see a pipe balancer that matches the others but the sorter doesn't have option for pipes. Specifically, multiple liquids coming out of chem plant and mill. I am left with tricky pipe junctions that often times get mixed up whe…

4 votes Change Import/Export colors to be consistent 0 · Slas [ideas] · 3 years ago Quality of life UI & UX 3 years ago by Slas [ideas] Posted 3 years ago The color of import/export either at the top, or the bottom should be changed to match.
