5 votes Add bigger pumps & bigger liquids dumps. 1 · danierlr · 5 months ago New content Quality of life Logistics 5 months ago by Magermh Posted 6 months ago Right now if we build a bigger water facility, it requires a massive coast, much bigger than the facility itself. And both water pumps \& dumps take a lot of coast space. 1 solution is to build an inland bay, but it is complicated to adjust ground like tha…

5 votes Icon at open pipe/conveyor belt ends 0 · Z - Guderian [ideas] · 7 months ago Quality of life UI & UX 7 months ago by Z - Guderian [ideas] Posted 7 months ago When planning large factories, it's easy to lose track of which pipe/conveyor belt is connected where. An icon at the open ends would be very helpful.

5 votes [QOL] balancer changes 0 · Hans [ideas] 4 · 7 months ago Quality of life Logistics 7 months ago by Hans [ideas] 4 Posted 7 months ago Allow balancers to be directly attached to buildings, this does not work now, you need always 1 pipe/belt between. Allow dynamic priority, just like with buildings, so you can make something like, use input 1 first, then input 2 and then 3 ( same for outpu…

5 votes Custom speed limits for trains 0 · McKitten [ideas] · 7 months ago Quality of life Trains 7 months ago by McKitten [ideas] Posted 7 months ago The ability to set speed limits for trains. Ideally this could be set both as a limit for a stretch of track and a limit for a train in the train builder (and trains would obey the lowest setting), but either one is better than none. Currently trains will …

5 votes When building, use up the raw materials from the shipyard first 1 · Michael [ideas] 3 · 7 months ago Quality of life Tools & Construction World Map & Ships 7 months ago by RollingSten [ideas] Posted 7 months ago Since a lot of (raw) materials end up in the shipyard quite easily, it might be a good idea to use these up first rather than those in the warehouses, whether or not using Unity This way, space is automatically freed up for the raw materials and supplies t…

5 votes Add the ability to attach to a tree planting machine with seedlings. 3 · BSCheshir [ideas] · 7 months ago Quality of life Farming & Food 7 months ago by BSCheshir [ideas] Posted 7 months ago Like a harvester, a tree planter travels over the same terrain for long periods of time, working in the same areas. However, it must spend a significant amount of time returning to the seedling storage area. To optimize the process, it would be worth addin…

5 votes New excavator 1 · Michael [ideas] 3 · 7 months ago New content Vehicles & Roads 7 months ago by poltime Posted 7 months ago What do you think of this excavator? It could work in the same way as the new Tier 2 stacker, with an extension so that it can excavate to a certain length/depth and, with side extensions such as a specially developed track, it can also move to the left an…

5 votes Train Signals [difficulty setting] 0 · Adrian [ideas] · 7 months ago New content Trains 7 months ago by Adrian [ideas] Posted 7 months ago Trains without signals feels like already assembled Lego. Its nice but its missing the fun. Some of us train enthusiasts just love designing train networks. I can't descibe how dissapointed I was when I learned there is no signals coming with trains and it…

5 votes An annoying "pillar" 0 · FactorioPlayer · 7 months ago Quality of life Logistics 7 months ago by FactorioPlayer Posted 7 months ago Can't we modify the addition rule for "pillar"? 1: Increase the spacing between "pillars" 2: Automatic alignment of "pillars" for adjacent conveyor belts or pipelines 3: Must "columns" be added at the entrance or exit of the elevator? unnecessary

5 votes I'd like to have more splitters, like 1x1 and 3x3, 0 · fmr [ideas] · 8 months ago New content Logistics 8 months ago by fmr [ideas] Posted 8 months ago I'd like to have more splitters, like 1x1 and 3x3, which would allow for the creation of more interesting blueprints.Existing 2x2 splitters are subject to certain logical limitations in some cases, and of course, spatial limitations as well.

5 votes Tier 2 Heavy Oil locomotive (Trains DLC) 2 · Kaiser · 8 months ago New content Trains 8 months ago by Kaiser Posted 8 months ago Add a Heavy Oil locomotive for the Trains DLC. This existed in real life: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Union_Pacific_GTELs It is similar to the turbine locomotive already announced for the Trains DLC (Tier 2, Fuel Gas) but it would use Heavy Oil instead. …

5 votes Manually placed pipe connector shouldn't be auto removed 2 · Edik65 [ideas] · 6 months ago Quality of life Logistics 6 months ago by Jawlatook [ideas] Posted 8 months ago Manually placed pipe connectors are removed when the first pipe is connected. When I need to connect two outputs, this behavior is illogical. I then have to place the pipe connector again and connect the second pipe.

5 votes rubber marks on hard surfaces 0 · Bar [ideas] · 8 months ago New content Graphics 8 months ago by Bar [ideas] Posted 8 months ago I really like seeing all the dirt paths that trucks make in the grass during the early game. Baldur [ideas] Posted 9 months ago Damn the consequences - Maybe I don't want to maintain a waste disposal site early on, let me give the fish 4 eyes and my people 3 arms.
