1 vote Found resources mini game. 0 · Eric W [ideas] · 1 year ago New content Terrain & Mining 1 year ago by Eric W [ideas] Posted 1 year ago Not sure how difficult this would be, but have a mini game where found resources actually require you to go to that location/island. You would need to build and bring the excavators/trucks/building materials, set it all up and get it started. Once setup, i…

1 vote Command Line Flags/Options to load game and/or continue game 0 · Kayser · 1 year ago Quality of life Saves & Loading 1 year ago by Kayser Posted 1 year ago We have since v0.7.9 command line flags --flush-after-each-log and --full-flush-logs. I would wish there was a command line flag to load a specific save, e.g. --load %save\_game, and/or --continue, to automatically load the latest save.

1 vote Panic Button 2 · DrPhrogg · 1 year ago New content UI & UX 1 year ago by Casual Player [ideas] 2 Posted 1 year ago Add a Panic Button toggle, which pauses/restarts everything. For use in death spirals when some pesky entity is sucking up needed resources and you can't find it. Should also pause World Map entities also.

1 vote Assigning Vehicles 0 · Grey Falcon [ideas] · 1 year ago Quality of life Vehicles & Roads 1 year ago by Grey Falcon [ideas] Posted 1 year ago Could we get CTRL \+ ALT to function when assigning vehicles between Default zone and others so that we can move 10 at a time like you can in default only pls?

1 vote Early game: remove the requirement to unload the harbor 0 · gurubm · 1 year ago Quality of life World Map & Ships 1 year ago by gurubm Posted 1 year ago This is a really minor complaint: To unload the harbor at the beginning, I have to build storage space. I don't build storage space, because on hard mode storage space isn't a good use of my construction parts early on. At some point I have to make that de…

1 vote Power Generators, when broken down, currently suffer no penalty 0 · beepchirpwhirr [ideas] · 1 year ago Balance Power & Energy 1 year ago by beepchirpwhirr [ideas] Posted 1 year ago Right now, power generators consume maintenance. However, if they break down, other than having the broken symbol on them, nothing changes. They still consume all the mechanical power they ordinarily would and they still output the normal amount of electri…

1 vote Ability to see which vehicle is being upgraded 0 · Final-Fan [ideas] · 1 year ago Quality of life UI & UX Vehicles & Roads 1 year ago by Final-Fan [ideas] Posted 1 year ago I don't believe there is any way to double check what specific vehicle is in the queue to be upgraded, in case I'm thinking of changing my mind and deleting it from the queue. (Or perhaps even shifting its priority, if another suggestion is taken!) As it s…

1 vote Ground paint 0 · WRSomsky [ideas] · 1 year ago New content Cosmetics & Decoration 1 year ago by WRSomsky [ideas] Posted 1 year ago It would be nice to have some sort of "ground paint" for laying out your plans, ideally from the git-go. What I envision is simply being able to color individual 'surface-pixels' w/ one of several solid, semi-transparent colors (no detailed decals, though …

1 vote Colored Tiles 0 · Marco [ideas] · 1 year ago New content Cosmetics & Decoration 1 year ago by Marco [ideas] Posted 1 year ago Additional formes like squares and circles that are Fully colored and Not just as a line. And maybe the possibility to fully color the tiles. Thanks guys

1 vote BOT 2 artificial player 1 · Meilis [ideas] · 1 year ago New content 1 year ago by Kraft [ideas] Posted 1 year ago 2 players on one island, and then there'd be a fight for resources, basically multiplayer

1 vote BOT artificial player 0 · Meilis [ideas] · 1 year ago New content Tools & Construction 1 year ago by Meilis [ideas] Posted 1 year ago You sit and watch it build and connect things, and every now and then you add some aesthetic touches yourself

1 vote Exhaust Scrubber: No smoke when using limestone. 0 · Arne [ideas] · 1 year ago Environment & Pollution 1 year ago by Arne [ideas] Posted 1 year ago When an exhaust scrubber is working in "limestone mode", should the smoke coming from the smokestack be white like steam from a cooling tower? Or maybe no exhaust from smokestack at all? And yes I know you can't see the plant working if there is no exhaust…

1 vote Can train carriages be copied with one click 0 · wtmxhyy · 1 year ago Quality of life Trains 1 year ago by wtmxhyy Posted 1 year ago There are a lot of carriages. If you want to replace the products, you have to manually select too many. It is hoped that there could be a button that allows for one-click copying or one-click setting to a unified product, reducing the repetition of replac…

1 vote Assign inputs and outputs. 0 · HeliosLD [ideas] · 1 year ago Quality of life Logistics UI & UX 1 year ago by HeliosLD [ideas] Posted 1 year ago Assigning inputs and outputs would allow pipes to be colored based on the output of something. Based on the recipes, players assign the various resources. Like the ore sorter works. Storages in/outs would be based on what they store.

1 vote More immediate colored pipes 0 · HeliosLD [ideas] · 1 year ago Quality of life Graphics Logistics 1 year ago by HeliosLD [ideas] Posted 1 year ago The colored pipes are awesome but if a resource is flowing at a slow rate or bits at a time, It takes forever for the transition to color to happen. The fade is nice but If it could just begin and end its transition to color in a fixed amount of time that'…

1 vote Alert Change 0 · Grey Falcon [ideas] · 1 year ago Quality of life Terrain & Mining UI & UX 1 year ago by Grey Falcon [ideas] Posted 1 year ago With the New Construction Zones the alerts for dumping need to be tied to the zone not the towers. Because the trucks can now be attached to a zone and not towers. There is a need to make a change to the alert systems.

1 vote Ability to snooze alerts 0 · Joe Garro [ideas] · 1 year ago Quality of life UI & UX 1 year ago by Joe Garro [ideas] Posted 1 year ago Would be nice to be able to snooze alerts for some time interval. Maybe default to a minute (or days) and/or add the ability to custom snooze. For example, perhaps I have a Low Level Alert on a Storage Container, but I suspect the issue to go away in bit, …

1 vote Undo the change of exhaust scrubber in v0.7.7 2 · water Is lava [ideas] · 1 year ago Balance Production & Recipes 1 year ago by water Is lava [ideas] Posted 1 year ago I think the original exhaust scrubber behavior work fine. let's say you check both recipe and 480 recipe on higher priority. If overall throughput < \=240 it trigger non-limestone recipe first. If overall throughput \> 240 it trigger non-limestone recip…

1 vote Add 'go to' or 'zoom to position' button to machine windows 0 · gemlad [ideas] · 1 year ago Quality of life UI & UX 1 year ago by gemlad [ideas] Posted 1 year ago When I have a pinned machine window, it would be very useful to be able to quickly go to that machine on the map

1 vote Ability to set waypoint for Rocket assembly depot 0 · Jacob [ideas] 2 · 1 year ago Quality of life Space & Rocketry 1 year ago by Jacob [ideas] 2 Posted 1 year ago I would love to have the option to set a waypoint for the rocket assembly depot, so when a rocket is constructed it will drive to the waypoint location. This will help with more rapid launches when the the depot is quite a distance from the launch pad.

1 vote Map Scarce Resource Challenges 0 · Daryl [ideas] · 1 year ago New content Maps & Map Editor World Map & Ships 1 year ago by Daryl [ideas] Posted 1 year ago I don't know if this has been suggested before, but maybe have extreme resource scarcity. Give players enough to get started, but they'll quickly run out of iron ore, copper, etc. They have to use contracts or map locations to make up the difference. So th…

1 vote Tanks for gases 0 · Astorio [ideas] · 1 year ago New content Logistics Power & Energy 1 year ago by Astorio [ideas] Posted 1 year ago I'm sure that with the arrival of trains many people have had this idea: how to haul the Exhaust from your production away somewhere and process it why not add tanks for gases (naturally, stations for cargo ships and trains should be included in this list …

1 vote Change the camera focal length depending on viewing angle to make it easier to… 0 · Ideas board member [ideas] · 1 year ago Quality of life UI & UX 1 year ago by Ideas board member [ideas] Posted 1 year ago Change the camera focal length depending on viewing angle to make it easier to build to the grid The idea came to me while trying to place retaining walls where I tilt the camera up high to try to see the grid better. The camera perspective still makes it …

1 vote Hello MaFi Let the meteorites come a bit earlier 0 · 愚公移山 · 1 year ago New content 1 year ago by 愚公移山 Posted 1 year ago Meteorites should come crashing down right from the start of the game, or start crashing down some time after the game begins A meteorite cannon technology could be added, with random meteorite size, random impact location and random ore content How it wor…

1 vote Roads Not Displaying or Connecting Under Housing Section 2 · mykyta [ideas] · 1 year ago Vehicles & Roads 1 year ago by mykyta [ideas] Posted 1 year ago There’s an issue with roads in the game. I can no longer build the road I want under the housing section, even though I was able to do it before without any problems. It used to work just fine, but now it doesn’t let me place the road there anymore. Also, …
