5 votes Assign trucks/excavators to mining tower 0 · Jackson [ideas] · 4 years ago Quality of life Vehicles & Roads 4 years ago by Jackson [ideas] Posted 4 years ago Instead of just being able to assign any available vehicle to a mining tower, the ability to select a certain vehicle, and assign it to a mining tower. Its a pain trying to get this excavator here and that one there by just random assignment.

5 votes Colored crushed concrete 1 · Burnrate [ideas] · 5 years ago Quality of life Cosmetics & Decoration 5 years ago by Kylekf Posted 5 years ago I want to be able to dump specifically colored concrete to make white pyramids, pave my roads dark blue, create yellow warning buffers around dock areas, etc.

5 votes Physical and/or environmental threats (Acid rain, Pirate raids, etc) 0 · certainOrder [ideas] · 5 years ago New content Environment & Pollution World Map & Ships 5 years ago by certainOrder [ideas] Posted 5 years ago There seems to be a noticeable lack of physical or environmental threats, given the narrative of a "global catastrophe." SO2 emissions causing acid rain seems like an obvious one since coal power is such a large part of the game. The pirates also seem surp…

5 votes Autoplacement of waste dump 2 · Yandersen · 5 years ago Quality of life Tools & Construction 5 years ago by Yandersen Posted 5 years ago If a pipe dragged to the shore let the waste disposal facility be automatically placed at the end. Hope it is possible to implement. :)

5 votes Construction materials alternative 0 · Yandersen · 5 years ago Tools & Construction 5 years ago by Yandersen Posted 5 years ago Unified oversimplification to tiers of construction materials for buildings seem odd with such attention to details in other material production chains. To address this I suggest to change the way structures are built: Let one block of settlement (or a par…

4 votes I have two suggestions. 2 · telefon119 · 1 month ago Quality of life Trains UI & UX 1 month ago by RollingSten [ideas] Posted 1 month ago I have two suggestions for the railway and statistics systems: 1\. Optional railway light signals I would like to have an optional railway light signal system. The light signals should be able to control train traffic, for example by showing green when a t…

4 votes Space rocket mark 2: Space shuttle 0 · Saphira123456 · 1 month ago New content Space & Rocketry 1 month ago by Saphira123456 Posted 1 month ago Cargo plus 7 passengers to low orbit. Uses hydrogen and oxygen for fuel, and water for sound suppression, so no need to change infrastructure. Crawler's still appropriate for it. Reusable vehicle so no need to remanufacture the orbiter or SRBs, just the ex…

4 votes Train Wagon for Trucks 1 · Ionburger [ideas] · 1 month ago New content Trains Vehicles & Roads 1 month ago by RollingSten [ideas] Posted 1 month ago Would be super cool to have a train wagon that could transport trucks, I could see it being useful for super long distance low throughput logistics, or to move trucks between islands that only have a train bridge.

4 votes Train Waggons 1 · Beat [ideas] · 1 month ago Quality of life Trains 1 month ago by RedSkyFire [ideas] Posted 1 month ago Like the possibility option to simply add or remove Train Wagons. Just produce or reduce an additional Wagon and not replace the whole Train.

4 votes Rail mounted balance machines 0 · Mik [ideas] · 2 months ago New content Logistics Trains 2 months ago by Mik [ideas] Posted 2 months ago Rail mounted stackers and reclaimers to store and reclaim bulk quantities of materials. Could then combine this with extra large boats and ship loaders. Extra long trains could then accompany this. Inspired by Port Hedland.

4 votes Visual Lane Offset for Trucks to Reduce Clipping on Main Roads 2 · Christian [ideas] · 1 month ago Graphics Vehicles & Roads 1 month ago by Jamie [ideas] Posted 2 months ago Currently, vehicles driving on the same path clipped into each other, which visually breaks the immersion on busy main transport corridors. Suggested Improvement: Introduce a slight visual lane offset (left/right rendering offset) when vehicles travel alon…

4 votes Top-level material filter for terraforming 0 · Cheeseinator [ideas] · 2 months ago Quality of life Terrain & Mining 2 months ago by Cheeseinator [ideas] Posted 2 months ago An optional, separate filter that only applies to the topmost layer of a dumping / leveling designation. This would make it less tedious to expand the island when you want to make sure the top layer is only dirt. Leveling designations with this filter woul…

4 votes Research Island for Unlocking Alternative Technologies and Renewable Power 0 · Ruru [ideas] · 2 months ago New content Power & Energy Research & Tech 2 months ago by Ruru [ideas] Posted 2 months ago I would like to suggest adding a special Research Island located outside the player's main island and accessible through the World Map. Players could deliver very large quantities of resources to this island—for example, 5,000 Steel—in order to complete ma…

4 votes Worker classes 2 · Tom [ideas] 2 · 2 months ago New content Quality of life Population & Services 2 months ago by Tom [ideas] 2 Posted 2 months ago In theory, factory workers can always be "potato people", no matter how advanced the factory is. This means you don’t have to provide the workers with any food other than potatoes. Consequently, various unlocks and upgrades are either unnecessary or not re…

4 votes Better optinos for unloading the shipyard 1 · Jim [ideas] 2 · 2 months ago Quality of life Logistics World Map & Ships 2 months ago by RedSkyFire [ideas] Posted 2 months ago Currently, when the shipyard fills up with products, the ship can no longer unload its cargo. The only options for unloading this cargo to the general factory is only 'keep empty'. But unless there's somewhere to send the various products, the shipyard nev…

4 votes Maximum total power consumption if all buildings would be consuming at once 0 · PowerPC603 [ideas] · 3 months ago Quality of life Power & Energy UI & UX 3 months ago by PowerPC603 [ideas] Posted 3 months ago Hi, Energy consumption can fluctuate quite enormous. The game has a nice overview which buildings are consuming at the current moment but I haven't found any readout that displays the maximum total consumption if all buildings would be running all at once.…

4 votes Better Train Depot Capacity Information 2 · Alkydere · 2 months ago Quality of life Trains 2 months ago by Hoochie Posted 3 months ago Just a small detail but it would be nice if the train depot (and the extensions) gave information on the maximum size of a train that can fit in them. I looked all about and had to figure out that a lone depot can hold 30 tiles of train via experimentation…

4 votes Seperate truck busyness indicator out by zone on hover 0 · Zyph [ideas] · 3 months ago Quality of life UI & UX Vehicles & Roads 3 months ago by Zyph [ideas] Posted 3 months ago When the top panel shows the truck network is busy, it does not show which zone is lacking in transport capacity. It'd be great if the tooltip of the vehicle count would show idle truck count separated by zone. e.g. Default: 5 idle Zone A: 7 idle Zone B: 0…

4 votes Train track visual update 0 · Rob Jackson [ideas] · 3 months ago Quality of life Trains 3 months ago by Rob Jackson [ideas] Posted 3 months ago Whilst starting a new game and designing a train system to take advantage of the auto reverse which has been added. It got me thinking about the potential for at the end of tracks, having a visual buffer to better show that it is the end of the line?

4 votes Load Game Menu add DLC Option 1 · Brian [ideas] · 3 months ago Quality of life UI & UX 3 months ago by TempestGod [ideas] Posted 3 months ago When loading a game without the DLC it always gives the option to add it.
