1 vote Better Train System 2 · water Is lava [ideas] · 6 months ago Quality of life Trains 6 months ago by water Is lava [ideas] Posted 6 months ago The current train system struggles with the following: 1\. Dynamic demand — e.g., transporting food, or combinations such as ore, rock, and dirt depending on a station's storage levels. 2\. Loading and unloading on the same wagon at the same station — for …

1 vote Add flat bridge section/option 1 · RoboticSith [ideas] · 6 months ago Quality of life Vehicles & Roads 6 months ago by RoboticSith [ideas] Posted 6 months ago Playing update 4 on Dragontail map. Along the main shoreline next to the insane difficulty starting island, I'm trying to create space for a rail line that would hug the cliffs and mostly follow the terrain. For something like this, it would be cool to hav…

Please make the speed configura…

1 vote City waste collection facility priority employment broken 0 · COI-Aficionado · 6 months ago Quality of life Population & Services 6 months ago by COI-Aficionado Posted 6 months ago The employment-priority system for the city’s waste-collection facility needs to be fixed. If I set waste collection to Priority 1, it should become the highest-priority city service job. My city ended up in a death spiral because no one would work at the …

Using a crusher grinding coal into coal dust with a ratio of 32 coal to 32 coal dust. The steam generator “Boiler” may have a ratio of 24 coal dust to 48 h…

1 vote Train Network UI/UX Feedback 0 · Anna [ideas] · 6 months ago Quality of life Trains UI & UX 6 months ago by Anna [ideas] Posted 6 months ago I am currently testing this featureset, and have bundled a lot of feedback into this one post. I'm sure the team is aware of many of these. As a long-time fan of LTN, I am so thrilled to see this system implemented, in such a friendly manner too. Convertin…

1 vote Add linking of sorting plants to storage bins 0 · BSCheshir [ideas] · 6 months ago Quality of life Logistics 6 months ago by BSCheshir [ideas] Posted 6 months ago In a sorting plant, especially a large one, and with the "automatic sorting" option enabled, bulk materials are sometimes stored that aren't transported by conveyors. Alternatively, they can be forcibly excluded from the list, in which case they will be re…

1 vote Lower oil consumption 1 · Daxxar · 7 months ago Balance Production & Recipes 7 months ago by Spike1985 Posted 7 months ago I'm at the start of the game. T1. 500 people. I have two oil tankers and the platform at level two, and it's just not enough. That's on the new Shattered Isles map. Every game, and I have over 300 hours in the game, fails because of oil. I have never reach…

1 vote Random pirate raids (lategame) 1 · Spike1985 · 7 months ago New content World Map & Ships 7 months ago by Spike1985 Posted 7 months ago I would like to see random pirate raids on the map. A notification could be displayed. Maybe need the requirement for a building like Radar station or send the ship on patrol (needs to have food packages loaded in order to patrol, crew supplies). Radar or …

1 vote Move the building/recipe selection pop-up when building to the left 0 · Nerdpunkfu · 7 months ago Quality of life UI & UX 7 months ago by Nerdpunkfu Posted 7 months ago Currently it is too easy to unintentionally change the building tier when selecting the recipe for the building you want to construct. Moving the pop-up to the left would solve this issue.

1 vote Port Dynamic Management System 0 · LDP · 7 months ago Quality of life World Map & Ships 7 months ago by LDP Posted 7 months ago Existing port functions remain unchanged; use the existing port functions to assign contracts and tasks. New addition: unify all vessels into a single management interface, allowing dynamic adjustment of vessel berthing positions based on port task request…

1 vote UI: Highlight transports connected to a building 0 · Vitor [ideas] · 7 months ago Quality of life UI & UX 7 months ago by Vitor [ideas] Posted 7 months ago Add a button / checkbox on the construction window to let you highlight transports connected to a building. Ideally, that would highlight even after junctions, so you can see the whole "graph" of connections. I'd use a different highlight color for each po…

1 vote Free floating Dialogs/Info windows 0 · Spike1985 · 7 months ago Quality of life UI & UX 7 months ago by Spike1985 Posted 7 months ago Would be nice to be able to open info Dialogs etc in a separate window, to move (and pin) them to a separate monitor (I am using a multi monitor setup and this would be nice).

1 vote Adding an Eyedropper/Pipette for buildings 0 · Kotbuz [ideas] · 7 months ago Quality of life Tools & Construction 7 months ago by Kotbuz [ideas] Posted 7 months ago Adding an Pipette tool that will select the building you are aiming at, without copying the settings and status. That is, with this choice of elevators, they will be able to change the height and directions. And it would be nice if such a selection of obje…

1 vote Locomotive UI fuel clarity 0 · Vectrobe [ideas] · 7 months ago Quality of life Trains UI & UX 7 months ago by Vectrobe [ideas] Posted 7 months ago Currently, and it did take me a while to realise how this works, to be able to differentiate between the fuel \*usage\* and the fuel \*capacity\* of a given model locomotive, you have to ALT\> into the UI and then hover over the fuel entry, for it to then …

1 vote Recycling Wagons and Locomotives 1 · Kodokuro · 7 months ago New content Trains 7 months ago by Vincas [ideas] Posted 7 months ago Tier 2 trains are great but replacing Tier 1 for Tier 2 feels like a waste of resources if Tier 1 are already doing the job. Let us recycle wagons and locomotives not just destroy or disappearing if we dont have enough storage for them. Getting recyclables…

1 vote PLEASE ADD A MONEY SYSTEM TO THE GAME 1 · Artiom [ideas] · 7 months ago New content World Map & Ships 7 months ago by poltime Posted 7 months ago Hello, dear Developers! It would be awesome if you could trade various goods with cities for money. There would be an incentive to clear more land and build big production facilities and infrastructure. It would also make sense to make some necessary mater…

1 vote Subdividing priorities 1 · Michael [ideas] 3 · 7 months ago Quality of life Tools & Construction 7 months ago by Michael [ideas] 3 Posted 7 months ago We all know that we can set different priority levels. Wouldn’t it also be useful to be able to create a general priority list? For example, you create a new industrial area, with conveyor belts, factories, warehouses, etc. Currently, you have to select th…

1 vote Return old logik for refueling excavators 0 · BSCheshir [ideas] · 7 months ago Quality of life Vehicles & Roads 7 months ago by BSCheshir [ideas] Posted 7 months ago Excavators began driving to gas stations instead of waiting for a fuel truck. The gas station can drive under overpasses and pipes, but the excavator can't. However, it moves slooooowly across the entire map, avoiding obstacles, which it shouldn't be doing…

1 vote Dig on all sides from a center point to make a concave hole. 0 · Jon [ideas] · 7 months ago Quality of life Terrain & Mining 7 months ago by Jon [ideas] Posted 7 months ago Allow for a single square or adjustable block that will depress the center and smooth out the edges as you go down. A concave hole that deeps in all directions as you go down so its drivable from all sides. Similar to pushing down on a bed mattress.
